Sthala is a community space where conservation, creativity, and collaboration come together. What began as a coworking hub for people in the climate and conservation fields has grown into a vibrant center with a café, maker’s studio, pottery studio, art gallery, nursery for native plants, and dedicated spaces for workshops and events. We create opportunities for children and adults to learn, share, and connect through hands-on activities, art, and nature.

Our Space

Sthala is housed in a 120-year-old Matha, nestled within a temple complex in one of Bangalore’s oldest neighborhoods. The heritage setting gives the space a unique character — blending history, culture, and community. With high ceilings, traditional architecture, and serene courtyards, Sthala provides a sense of grounding while also serving as a hub for creativity and collaboration. This historic backdrop makes every workshop, gathering, or quiet coffee in the café part of a living continuum of tradition and innovation.
